The 15th-century portions are real incidents and not fiction

CHAPTER 1: THE MYSTERIOUS FOLKLORE

Parker is a History teacher in a Christian school in Chennai. His students have named him as 'Stylish' Parker for his humour sense and for his lively teaching skills. When he evaluates the exam papers of his students, he never puts tick and cross marks. Directly he puts a mark above 90 commonly in every paper depending on the question paper's difficulty (tough/easy).

One fine evening, while Parker evaluates the quarterly exam papers, his younger sister Julie, a news reporter, enters his room with three candles. When she enters inside the attached bathroom, Parker asks "Hey why are you taking the candle inside? Is the EB bill pending for bathroom alone?". Julie laughs and says "Just now I'm coming from my friends birthday party. At the end of it, she was talking about a challenging game called 'bloody mary'. In this game, three candles will be lit and kept before the mirror. And then if we chant 'bloody mary' for three times a ghost will appear on the mirror. So I'm gonna try and check if it's real.".

Parker thinks for a second and says "Ok. Carry on. But don't chant as 'bloody mary'. Chant just 'Mary'. Whether the spirits exist or not let's respect them. When they were alive we don't know how many respected them. So...". Julie says "Maybe this Mary may be a wicked witch. So the chant may be like that. Let me chant as 'bloody mary'". Parker says "When you've stood by my words? Ok, carry on.".

In the bathroom, after she lights the candles, Parker gets possessed, turns the page of the paper that he is currently evaluating, picks a 10-mark descriptive answer, writes '10/10' next to the answer and puts a tick mark on the sentence 'died on his father's 90th birthday.'.

When Julie chants "bloody mary" three times, a ghost with a bruised face, blooded tears and long hair appears in the mirror, comes out and walks slowly against Julie. A scared Julie calls "PARKER!!! PARKER!!!!!!". A possessed Parker walks slowly to the bathroom and before he reaches there Julie throws a mug, which was close to her, on the candles and it falls and switches off. The ghost goes back into the mirror and Parker overcomes his possession and comes back to consciousness. Their parents come to the room hearing the sounds and ask "What happened Julie? You Ok?". Julie says that she feared a cockroach and it has gone outside the bathroom through the drainage. Then the parents go back to the living room.

Julie hugs Parker and cries. Parker is confused as he doesn't know how he came to the bathroom. Also, when he looks at the exam paper he gets shocked to see the tick marks and the score. He says "Finally I heard the rubbing sound from the matchbox and after that, I don't know what happened.". Julie says "A woman seriously appeared after I chanted in the mirror and when the candle is switched off she went into the mirror and disappeared.". Parker says "We will see about her later. Light the candles once.". When Julie lights the candles Parker again gets possessed and walks against Julie. Julie switches off the candles and Parker becomes normal. Parker asks "Julie. What happened now? I lost my mind once you lit the candles.". Julie says "You are getting possessed by someone when I light the candles.".

Parker checks the answer paper and then asks "Why particularly to this answer and to this sentence?". He and Julie then Google the folklore and find out that the ghost which appeared in the mirror is no one other than Queen Mary Tudor who ruled England in the 15th century. During her dynasty, some people named her 'bloody mary'. After her death, a myth that, whoever chants 'bloody mary' before a mirror, her spirit will come and kill them, started revolving and lots of death are being reported due to that in the current century.

Parker says "This is why I said not to use that word 'bloody'. Now see what happened. That was very close. Anyway, Don't repeat this game. Ask your friends also not to play this.". Julie says "Ok Parker. I'm sorry.".

A few days later at school, the headmaster announces a pilgrimage tour to Vellankanni church in two days. On the day of the trip, Julie says to Parker "Don't go leaving me Parker. I'm scared.". Parker says "Parents are there no. It's just a one-day trip. I'll return tonight. So relax. Ok?". Julie says "Ok. Be safe.". Parker says "Ok dear.".

All school staffs and students go to the Vellakanni church on a tourism bus arranged by the school. When everyone enters the church, Parker couldn't enter inside. Something stops him from entering. When a teacher asks him to enter inside, he denies it. He then catches a train and returns back to Chennai.

Parker's parents and a scared Julie ask the reason for his immediate return. Parker reveals what happened in the bathroom and now in the church. Parents get shocked. Julie says "When I spoke to my friend today she told a chant as a follow up to the former one. It is 'bloody mary I stole your baby'. She also said that the baby is called as 'Ghost baby'.". Parker says "I think there's some relation between that Queen and me.". Later while having dinner they see news on TV that 23 deaths were reported in Dublin because of the game.

Parker flies to Dublin to discover the truth about Mary Tudor and stays in a hotel and his room, by the way, is on the 5th floor. In a room on the 7th floor, a Malaysian Indian guest lights three candles in the bathroom and chants "Bloody mary I stole your baby" three times. A possessed Parker goes in the elevator to the 7th floor and continuously knocks on that room's door. When the guest slightly opens the door, Parker kicks the door and the guest falls back. When Parker enters the room the lights flicker. The guest panics and shouts "WHO ARE YOU!!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT!!!! DON'T KILL ME!!!!!!". Parker ferociously asks "Am I stolen?". The guest gets shocked after figuring out that Parker is no one other than the GHOST BABY which means that he is the son of Queen Mary Tudor. When the guest tries to run into the room to switch off the candles, Parker stamps his face on the wall with his legs. The guest manages to remove his slipper and throws it on the candles. The candles are turned off and Parker becomes normal and takes back the leg from the guest's face.

Parker is shocked when he finds himself in another room and has attacked the guest. He asks the guest "Hey you Ok?. I'm sorry. Please have the patience to let me explain what happened.". The guest says "Oh you have another face. No problem go ahead.". Parker reveals everything.

The guest says "My assumption is right. No doubt she's your mother.". A shocked Parker asks "What????". The guest says "Relax Parker. By the way I'm Peter. I'm an exorcist and my younger sister Jessica is an archaeologist. I'm doing a PhD in this folklore. You were supposed to be her son in your previous birth.". Parker says "Do you know entirely about her?". Peter says "Yes. I checked-in in this hotel to experiment with this game. Now let's check out and go to my house. I'll explain everything.".

CHAPTER 2: WHO IS MARY?

Peter takes Parker to his home and introduces him to his parents and to Jessica. Jessica invites Parker to the terrace for the discussion on Mary Tudor.

Jessica says "Let me explain what happened in the 15th century. Mary was the fifth child of Henry VII of England and Elizabeth of York, and the youngest to survive infancy. She was born at Sheen Palace, in March 1496. A privy seal bill dated from midsummer 1496 authorizes payment of 50 shillings to her nurse, Anne Skeron. Also, Erasmus stated that she was four years old when he visited the royal nursery in 1499–1500. At age six, she was given her own household, complete with a staff of gentlewomen assigned to wait upon her, a schoolmaster, and a physician. She was given instruction in French, Latin, music, dancing, and embroidery. Her Governess was Joan Vaux, whom she called Mother Guildford; the two shared a close relationship and Mary was furious when Joan was sent back to England upon her arrival in France.

As children, Mary and her brother, the future King Henry VIII, shared a close friendship. He named his first surviving child, the future Queen Mary I, in her honour. They lost their mother when Mary was just six and, given the number of bills paid to her apothecary from 1504 to 1509, it would appear that Mary's own health was fragile.

She was known in her youth as one of the most beautiful princesses in Europe; Erasmus said of her that 'Nature never formed anything more beautiful.'.

In 1506, during a visit from Philip I of Castile, Mary was called to entertain the guests, dancing and playing the lute and clavichord. In September 1506, Philip died, and on 21 December 1507, Mary was betrothed to his son Charles, later Holy Roman Emperor. The betrothal was called off in 1513.

Instead, Cardinal Wolsey negotiated a peace treaty with France, and on 9 October 1514, at the age of 18, Mary married the 52-year-old King Louis XII of France at Abbeville. She was accompanied to France by four English maids of honour (one of whom was Anne Boleyn) under the supervision of her old governess Lady or "Mother" Guildford, who acted as her principal lady-in-waiting.

Despite two previous marriages, Louis had no living sons; and sought to produce one. But he died on 1 January 1515, less than three months after marrying Mary, reputedly worn out by his exertions in the bedchamber, but more likely from the effects of gout. Their union produced no children. Following Louis's death, the new king Francis I made attempts to arrange a second marriage for the beautiful widow.

Mary had been unhappy in her marriage of state to King Louis XII, as she was almost certainly already in love with Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk. King Henry VIII was aware of Mary's feelings; letters from her in 1515 indicated that she had agreed to wed Louis only on condition that "if she survived him, she should marry whom she liked." But Henry VIII wanted any future marriage to be to his advantage. The King's Council, not wishing to see Charles Brandon gain further power at court, was also opposed to the match. Meanwhile, rumours swirled in France that she would wed either Antoine, Duke of Lorraine, or Charles III, Duke of Savoy. At one point, even King Francis I, perhaps in hope of his wife Queen Claude's death, was one of Mary's suitors in the first week of her widowhood; Mary asserted that she had given him her confidence in order to avoid his overtures. A pair of French friars went so far as to warn Mary that she must not wed Charles Brandon because he 'had traffickings with the devils.'.

When King Henry VIII sent Charles to bring Mary back to England in late January 1515, he made the Duke promise that he would not propose to her. Once in France, Mary persuaded Charles to abandon that pledge; Charles later wrote to the King stating he 'never saw a woman so weep.'

The couple wed in secret at the Hotel de Clugny in Paris on 3 March 1515 in the presence of just 10 people, among them King Francis I. Technically, this was treason as Charles Brandon had married a royal princess without King Henry's consent.

Thus Henry was outraged, and the privy council urged that Charles be imprisoned or executed; Mary, as royalty and the King's favorite sister, was safe from execution. Because of the intervention of Thomas Wolsey and Henry's affection for both his sister and Charles, the couple were given only a heavy fine of £24,000, to be paid to the King in yearly installments of £1000; the whole of Mary's dowry from King Louis XII of £200,000; and the gold plate and jewels King Louis had given or promised her. The £24,000, approximately equivalent to £7,200,000 today, was later reduced by the King.

They officially later married on 13 May 1515 at Greenwich Palace in the presence of King Henry VIII and his courtiers. In 1528, Charles secured a papal bull from Pope Clement VII legitimizing the marriage.

Because of this weird wedding, Mary was severely mocked by the people of England. Even during her reign, she underwent a lot of oppositions and controversies following her announcement about converting all the protestants to catholic in order to make England a Catholic land. The population of protestants were high in England during the reign of Henry Vll.

Anyone who continuously tolerates problems coming to him will certainly burst out at a moment, right? The same way Mary's problems in her childhood days, in her marriage life and during her reign made the in-sleeping animal in her wake up suddenly and take over her. She burnt alive many protestants who were mocking her like anything. Following this, all the protestants named her as 'bloody mary' as if she was thirsty on blood.

Few days later Mary showed signs of pregnancy. The controversies started vanishing. During the pregnancy days, Mary was mostly in her room on a bed before a mirror having three candles lighted near the mirror. She daydreams about her baby by looking at the mirror. People of England was also happy for her.

But fate had some other plans. Suddenly the signs of pregnancy started disappearing one by one. On the estimated day of the baby's delivery, there was no news about it. Rumors started spreading that the baby has born a few days back and that the biological father of the baby is someone else.

As days pass by she suffered many awkward comments from people. She was not in a space of making the people understand that she suffered phantom pregnancy (Meaning, signs of pregnancy will occur without the presence of a baby in the womb).

Due to over stress she suffered sweating sickness and the cause of death has been speculated to have been angina, tuberculosis, appendicitis, or cancer.".

Parker says "No woman should get a horrible life like this.".

Jessica says "A mysterious thing over this is about her pregnancy. Peter said something like 'Ghost baby' and now he said you are that. He'll explain about that. Wait here. I'll send him".

While waiting Parker thinks that there is also something fishy behind the population of protestants in England.

Peter comes to the terrace says "Parker, let's talk about the folklore. Following Mary's death, her spirit started wandering all over the world. Two things became popular in her history. One is her rivalry with the protestants and the name 'Bloody Mary'. And the other is her pregnancy days. Following that someone introduced this game called 'Bloody Mary'. The chant which specifically makes her mad is "Bloody Mary I stole your baby.". The difference when this game is played in other houses and when played in your house is that the possession. You are the only person who got possessed when the candles were lighted because you are her son. When you attacked me when you were possessed you asked me "Am I stolen?". Following that, I finalized that you are the so-called 'GHOST BABY'. Mary's pregnancy was not actually phantom. Your soul was there inside her womb and disappeared a few days later. How this happened is the mystery yet to be cracked. Many of us are working on it. You'll be possessed as the Ghost baby when you come across the three candles that are lit near a mirror".

Parker says "I think you people are cracking the mystery everywhere except at the right place.". Peter says "What do you mean?". Parker says "How it became possible for Henry Vll to develop more protestants in England? Why they should be against catholic when asked to get converted? I'm not discarding the fact that it's not easy for a person to get converted immediately. But there are no histories like there was a rivalry between Catholics and protestants. So, instead of representing this reason when they opposed, why should they be against the catholic?. There is something fishy in this".

Peter says "Oh yeah you're right.". Parker says "As diamond cuts diamonds, only blood will wipe and prevent another blood. From now on do as I say". Peter says "Ok. Our next move?". Parker says "Jessica, you said something like Charles Bardon was trafficking with the devils right? Neither a Catholic nor a protestant will do this if they respect their Bibles. So I need that devil's elbow from his tomb.".

CHAPTER 3: EXCAVATING THE TRUTH

Parker, Jessica and Peter fly to Berkshire where Charles Bardon was buried. When they reach his tomb, Peter says "I'm smelling cold blood from his tomb.". Parker says "As I expected.". Peter asks "What??". Parker says "I'll explain later. Now shall we excavate the answer for my first doubt? Open the tomb and grab his elbow or whatever. Let's take it to the lab and find out whether he is my biological father.".

They open the tomb, takes his elbow and takes it to the DNA testing lab. When it was tested with Parker's blood sample, Parker's assumption becomes right. Parker says "My mom and dad's love was true. Then why I was invisible in my mother's womb?.". Also, Parker asks the experts to find out using that elbow with who and all Charles slept with. The experts find about so many women.

Parker and Jessica takes one of the women's details and starts finding evidence against her. Peter returns to Dublin and starts finding details about few people among the ones who were killed by Mary's spirit. Parker and Jessica excavate some kinds of stuff used for satan worshipping. Peter as well finds out that those people were satan worshippers.

While flying back to Dublin in night flight, Parker and Jessica have personal conversations and love blossoms between both of them.

After landing in Dublin, Parker, Jessica and Peter have conversations about the truth. Peter says "The reason you are a ghost baby is because of the devil's dominance in Charles' body. As a ghost baby, your want is to kill satan worshippers.". Parker says "True. And also, Henry Vll converted many satan worshippers to protestants in order to increase the population of them. My mom has killed many protestants with a stereotype that protestants are evils without knowing that they are basically converted protestants.". Jessica says "Yeah he's right. The excavated shreds of evidence clearly say that.". Parker asks "Peter, Did you find out why there were more deaths particularly in Dublin due to the game?". Peter says "When Mary announced the conversion from protestant to catholic, entire Ireland followed that and the catholic density became more here. So in order to work against it and also to prove that the game is fake, satan worshippers have developed here but they are digging their own grave.".

Parker says "We need to disclose this truth to the public. We should eradicate this game from this world. But if we simply talk about this, it won't make any sense.". Peter says "What shall we do then?". Parker says "You are an expert in chasing the ghosts away right? But now bring back the 'Ghost baby' and his mother. Jessica, assemble the evidences.".

Parker calls Julie and asks her to come to Dublin with her button camera which has a live streaming facility. Julie comes with that and the mission outbreaks.

Peter does a ritualic meditation to discover a satan worshipper in the city and figures out one. Parker suspends the button camera in his shirt; Jessica takes the evidences; Julie takes her laptop; Peter takes three candles. Everyone goes to the satanist's house. Peter gives him the candles and asks him to play the game. When he enters the bathroom, Parker switches on the camera and Julie opens her laptop and pairs the connection with it. The video gets streamed to the channel where she works. Following that it is streamed to every other channel and now, whatever happens in the house, is witnessed globally.

When the satanist lights the candles, Parker gets possessed as the ghost baby. When he chants 'Bloody Mary I have stolen your baby' 3 times, no one appears in the mirror. Instead, Parker goes inside the bathroom and asks him "Am I stolen?". The shocked satanist turns back and sees a ferocious Parker.

When the satanist realizes Parker is the 'Ghost baby' he says "You're not stolen. But you're trapped now." and switches of the candles. Parker becomes normal and the satanist pushes him out of the bathroom. Both have a deadly fight and the camera falls down and live-streams the fight. Julie shows the evidences to the camera and speaks about the truth.

Jessica, as instructed by Peter, goes inside the bathroom, lights one of the candles and chants "Honourable Queen Mary. Come and save your son" one time and then chants "Honourable Queen Mary. Come and save my husband" one time and then chants "Honourable Queen Mary. Come and deliver us from evil" one time. Mary appears in the mirror and comes out. When Parker punches the satanist, he falls on Mary's feet. Mary kicks him. Jessica lights the remaining two candles and Parker gets possessed. When Parker stamps on the satanist's face, Mary opens his chest with her nails drinks his blood, removes the heart and eats it. Thus the satanist is killed.

Then Mary and Parker hug each other with tears. Mary then blesses him and Jessica and says to Parker "Thank you, dear. Thank you for rectifying my reputation. Take care of your family and your sister. I'm resting in peace." and looks into the camera and says "My apologies to all the protestants out there." and looks at Peter and Julie says "God bless you both." signifying that Julie and Peter are future couples. Then she disappears and settles in Paradise. Parker becomes normal and he won't be possessed hereafter. Thus the game is eradicated and the mission is accomplished.

Parker, Peter, Jessica and Julie flies back to India. Parker gets married to Jessica and Peter gets married to Julie.
